THE IMPORTANCE OF MINDSET: WHAT IS YOUR TUDE?

“The longer We live, the more we realize the impact of Attitude on life. Attitude to us is more important than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than appearances, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company, church or home.

The remarkable thing is that we have a choice everyday regarding the Attitude we will embrace for that day. We can not change our past. We can not change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We can not change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our Attitude. we are convinced that life is 10% of what happens to us and 90% how we react to it. And so it is with us. We are in charge of our Attitudes

How does it make you feel when you meet someone with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude? Energized? Positive? Enthused? You know the types of individuals I mean – their glass is always half full…not half empty. They’re always looking for the “opportunity in the difficulty” instead of the difficulty in the opportunity.

We cannot change the past and we have very little control of the inevitable. Therefore, the present and the future outcomes are largely determined by our attitude.
We Are convinced that our lives are less determined by what happens to us and more determined by how we react to situations.

With a positive attitude all of us have the power to minimize adversities or to turn them into opportunities.A strong positive attitude is of primary importance in dealing with life challenges. People with positive attitudes have a clear focus, well-defined objectives and enthusiasm for life.Attitude is our reaction to life’s every day experiences.

It truly is a part of all that we have been, we are and hope to be, all wrapped up in our feelings about work, education and personal relationships.

We, therefore, need to use our energies to bring about positive attitudes, thus empowering ourselves to improve all aspects of our lives — physically, socially and intellectually. Our attitude has a major impact on the destiny of us as individuals and as a country.

We all have a choice. We can choose to use self-talk to encourage and motivate ourselves, or we can choose an attitude where we tell ourselves that we are not as smart or talented or as funny as everyone else. We can feel sorry for ourselves if we choose. But we have a choice.

“What is your mindset? How is your attitude? Are you a victim or a victor? The difference is in how and what you think. What are your predominant thoughts? Henry Ford said, ‘whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you are right.’ Someone else said, ‘your attitude determines your altitude’. So, do you have a champion’s attitude or not?

There Is a Magic Ingredient That Makes All of Life Better

“I am convinced that my life belongs to the whole community and as long as I live, it is my privilege to do for it whatever I can, for the harder I work the more I live. I rejoice in life for its own sake. Life is no brief candle for me. It is a sort of splendid torch which I got hold of for a moment, and I want to make it burn as brightly as I possibly can before turning it over to future generations.”Muthoni Wachira

What a terrific attitude! Can you imagine life ever getting boring, or work getting dull, for a person with an attitude like that? You can have the loftiest goals; you can have the highest ideals; you can have the noblest dreams; you can have the richest ideas; but remember, nothing works unless you have a clear focus and well-defined objective.

Make a strong commitment to reach the height of your potential as a human being. Decide, once and for all, that you will be the best you can at whatever you set out to do.Your attitude is comprised of your beliefs and what you think is important, your values. It is your mindset. You (and I) aren’t born with attitude.

You develop it. You can change it. You can make it serve you OR you can serve it.
Whether IT serves you or YOU serve it is critical. If you have a poor attitude you are the servant. If your attitude is right, IT serves you. You have heard of a ‘winning’ or ‘winner’s attitude’.

Your ATTITUDE will always determine your ALTITUDE in life – so make sure you catch yourself with the right attitude on a consistent basis and make sure you surround yourself with fellow like-minded positive ‘can-do’ individuals

And so it is with you… we are in charge of our attitudes.
