ELEVATION REQUIRES SEPARATION

There are some things and some people that you just cannot fight to hold on to any longer. There are certain habits, certain things in life, certain individuals that if you keep chasing after them – they will ultimately destroy you. Now I do not know about you – but as for me re-evaluation is always a good thing. Everybody has to grow at some point, and as you grow, those who you once held close to your heart may choose to grow in a different direction to you. This is something that I have experienced first hand – especially when I became saved. That is just the way it goes. My question to you is who do you call your friends?   O ur life, including our career, is like a book. Some chapters are phenomenal and others leave a little to be desired. You’d like to skip right over those. Yet, every day adds a new page to our overall journey. Until the final sentence has been written, there’s still time to change the story. As we flip through the pages of our life, we live through an array of emotions, actions, and circumstances. We have our ups and downs. We laugh, we cry, we win, we lose, we falter, and we grow strong. But when you are on the last page, what will your book say about you? What story did it tell? v   Who were you as a person?
